- No ... as you seem to imply in your second paragraph, the Colorado
- attorney general's office is bound by law to try to get the amendment
- upheld, regardless of the individuals' opinions of it. If they think
- it won't stand anyway, the quickest way to get rid of it is to push the
- appeal as fast as possible. I'm glad they're doing it; I hope it's
- overturned in time for me to arrange my annual August trip to Aspen.
