  13. Well, I don't know how relevant some of you might think this is
  14. - and I'm sure that *someone* will flame me for this -
  15. but.............
  16. one thing I *have* noticed is that there seems to be a lot of
  17. contempt for other sexual-minority (or sub-minority) groups
  18. i.e. people who have other sexual interests as well as their
  19. sexual 'base' (gay/lesbian/het/bi) from gay people.
  20. (I have personal experience of this)

  22. Now I know that not *everyone* is as condemning/narrow-minded
  23. but if gays/lesbians - who are themselves effectively a minority
  24. group - condemn other minorities, how the hell are they supposed
  25. to be able to come to terms with the other aspects of their
  26. sexuality? Even more so, as an example, if someone is gay
  27. and has a paraphiliac desire, how are they expected to cope
  28. or deal with their feelings if they speak to a gay friend
  29. and get told they are a pervert or need curing?
  30. (Again, this has happened to me! :-( )
