- I know normal net etiquette is to xpost in the Newsgroups: line, rather
- than send separate postings to each group. But since most of the
- soc.motss->soc.bi xposts are things like conference announcements
- and the above survey etc which don't expect news followups, but usually
- direct mail replies, can I suggest that you post multiple copies
- individually to each group? That way, we don't get these periodic
- incursions of homophobic idiots who seem to be fascinated by soc.motss
- turning up on soc.bi all the time when they follow up a soc.motss
- article. By the time the thread is underway it's impossible to get
- it out of our group, since few of the participants ever seem willing
- to trim the Newsgroups liine...
