  29. Uh, this might be really selfish on my part, but I really want him to
  30. do this in a very public way.  I wanna see him spend, actually invest
  31. is a better word, a little political capital on this.

  33. Regardless of the perception that the military is a bunch of right
  34. wing cranks, the military is a great moderating force in America.  The
  35. enlisted men and women come from everywhere:  all geographical
  36. regions, all political bents, all sexual orientations and practices.
  37. I think some of us are failing to imagine just how much impact this
  38. will have, how much easier it will be to get federal gay rights
  39. legislation passed because of it.

  41.    And I really don't think we should be considering putting pressure
  42.    on Clinton when he's doing the right thing, just not in the way we
  43.    might prefer.  Let's save it for when he's doing the wrong thing.
