  22. performance, and I have little to add, except on this specific point.

  24. We didn't march in the parade. We played (sitting) from a point on
  25. the side of the parade route. For this reason, we were not part
  26. of the parade proper and, apparently, were not covered by television.

  28. Although this sounds disappointing, it was probably best. LGBA is good
  29. at playing music together at short notice, and we do it often. But 
  30. many of us are not experienced at marching in formation, and we 
  31. probably would not have looked very good.  We sounded marvelous.

  33. (We also got to see the lawn chair drill team, which was rather
  34. fun.)
