- This sounds too much like the arms race of yesteryear where
- we first had missles, then anti-missle missles, then
- anti- anti-missle missle missles, etc. Why not just remove
- the laws and policies that support discrimination e.g. the
- ban on gays in the military, the inequalities created due to
- the legal institution of marriage being available only to
- straights, etc. This would be more constructive, would make
- for a smaller government, and would see less resistance from
- those who are bigoted, ignorant, or fearful.
