- Iced tea is still a refreshing drink, even in winter -- we probably go
- through 2-3 gallons of the stuff a week.
-
- "Cold coffee", however, is different from "iced coffee". Coffee left
- sitting, reaching something just below room temperatute, is disgusting.
- Over ice, or better yet over ice made from coffee, iced coffee can be a
- delightful flavor change.
-
- To make the idea more palatable, try pouring fresh, hot coffee over
- 2 or 3 scoops of vanilla or chocolate ice cream or frozen yogurt. The
- flavor combination is wonderful, and much better waist-wise than a lot
- of gooey syrups.
