  28. Hm... actually in the two-part TNG episode, where Picard, Worf, and
  29. Crusher are captured by the Cardassians (it's a C, not a K), at one
  30. point the one torturing Picard (why were they so blatantly copying the
  31. toturing thing from Orwell's _1984_?) is just sitting as his desk and
  32. his daughter (identified by conversation and behavior) wanders in and
  33. starts talking to him, and she eventually asks her dad "Do humans have
  34. mothers and fathers too?"

  36. From this we can at least infer that there are male and female
  37. Cardassians, and that each gender looks like its respective human gender
  38. plus the Cardassian makeup :-)  There may be more than one mother and/or
  39. father for each child but they didn't say that explicitly, and IMHO they
  40. imply the traditional two-parent thing.
