- Nonsense, Matthew. The YAZZ who gave the album "Wanted" has nothing at
- all to do with Alison Moyet or Vince Clarke.
- In fact, the group first billed themselves as Yazz & the Plastic
- Population for their first hit, "The Only Way Is Up", which faired quite
- well in the UK charts (No. 2 or 3 I think, although I'd have to get my
- little brother to check that).
- Recently, Yazz has been trying to make a come-back, after, I believe,
- having a baby, so there may well be another album on its way. There
- was a single last year, but it didn't do as well as either of the previous
- hits. The album "Wanted" is still available from various record stores,
- esp. ones which stock older stuff. Chances are "Wanted" will be re-
- released if Yazz's next album goes well.
