  17. first thing he did when being introduced to Lt. Dax *in an official
  18. capacity* was to ask her on date.  This would be like your first day
  19. at a new job, being introduced to a co-worker and making a pass.
  20. Geez, they managed to come up with a bigger airhead than Beverly Crusher.
  21. At least Crusher was eventually able to rise above it, maybe he will too.
