- A woman can abort after conception occurs, thus achieving a) physical removal
- of the fetus, and b) discharge of all child support liabilities. Sounds pretty
- damned close to "responsibility free" to me. Why does a man have no equivalent
- to choice (b)? What's stopping society from giving him that choice, except of
- course the underlying sexist assumption that men should be the bread-winners
- and women the nurturers, and some flimsy, invalid rationalizations about what
- is economically-efficient, and what isn't...
