  22. The fact that there is increased volume in domestic violence shelters
  23. during the SuperBowl may reflect the fact that it is one of the few
  24. times when many men are definitely going to be busy, and so women
  25. who want to may take the opportunity to leave during those few
  26. hours.

  28. Which my no means negates the problem; I just get tired of seeing this
  29. statistic misinterpreted to mean that the SuperBowl causes violence.
  30. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't, but this statistic doesn't help us.
