  23. YES: The support should be given to the ones who are the victims of the
  24. racist extremists! But these victims are not just of one nationality
  25. or religion. They are all the civilians in the former Yugoslav Republics.
  26. If this is not stated clearly as the goal of intervention (military
  27. or political), but, instead, the intervention falls into the same racist
  28. nationalist fascist rhetoric, it will be just taking sides with one
  29. kind of extremists (in this case Bosnian Muslims). And that will not
  30. really solve the problems in the area, just maybe postpone them for some
  31. moment in the future.

  41. I cannot agree more. That is why it is of the paramount importance that
  42. the whole war in Yugoslavia be understood NOT as an ethnic/religious
  43. war, but as a mafia war between multiple warlords in which they throw their
  44. own people. In order to bring lasting peace to the region, the international
  45. community and the media have to launch a campaign against all chauvinism,
  46. nationalism and ethnic hatred and support only those who are willing
  47. to work for co-operation, civil understanding and laws which would
  48. guarantee civilian and human rights above national rights. And moreover,
  49. all those responsible for engineering, instigating and implementing
  50. this war should be punished for their deeds by an international
  51. tribunal composed of the representatives of all the victimized
  52. nations and other UN representatives!

  54. Please right to the president Clinton and help him understand that
  55. no solution can be just and lasting if it is not just for all the
  56. peoples, and that extreme chauvinism which per definition discriminates
  57. on the national/racist basis, cannot be a ground for peace. The war
  58. in Yugoslavian countries can  not be stopped by arming or disarming one
  59. of the warring extremists, or by a military intervention against one
  60. of the extreme nationalist armies. It can be stopped only when all
  61. the extreme nationalists are stopped and when the victimized peoples of all
  62. ethnic backgrounds open their eyes and see that devided they are
  63. an easy prey to the criminal leaders of all sides.
