- Let me add something. The whole island of Taiwan is really not
- that bad. There are some industrial areas which are just like the
- industrialized areas of the world, but for the most part it is
- acceptable since the locals more than make up for it in services and
- effeciency.
-
- Taiwan is quite diverse in culture. The northern part of the
- island (Taipei ... etc.) is very active and lively. It is like most
- big cities in the world. The city never sleeps.
-
- But if you enjoy nature and serenity, you could also find it
- in Taiwan, especially in the eastern part of the island. There you
- will find some of the most breath taking views of Taiwanese land scape.
- Or if the life in the city becomes too difficult to cope, go visit the
- southern part of the island. People are quite different there, they
- are more friendly and more relaxed. Or go visit the national park in
- the southern tip of the island. It is quite beautiful.
-
- No matter what, a visit to Taiwan is worth it.
-
- - Have a good trip.
