- Was you attacked? My very very very limited experience in NYC and not-so-limited
- exp. in Moscow (but two years ago) and in Berkeley, including nights are both negative:
- no attacks. My opinion is that I would not left my car unattended on the
- street at night in Moscow (would I have one there), but I would not be much

- Actually what you may get from opinion of people on the net is mostly personal
- luck, possibly dependent on one's face, weight etc...

- One story, one of x-Soviets guys here had farther visiting him from Israel.
- This old man was trying to persuade me that it's impossible to walk on street
- of Moscow after 5 pm. This was couple of week after we came from there. He was
- quite convinced. On the question what the situation with terrorism in Israel,
- he answered only "Well, it's temporary...".

- imagine, no working after a dusk.

- Again, I love it. Just compare American prison and concert in the Chaikovsky
- Hall, and you may judge for yourself.

- In fact, if one excludes inner city ghettos from the statistics,
