- I believe it is well established that the Irish people is of mainly
- Celtic stock (aka the Dark Irish). Of course, as Ireland has been
- invaded over and over through the centuries (by Vikings, Scots and
- Englishmen) a bit of gene mixing has inevitably taken place. Hence the
- red-haired Irish.
