  12.     One thing I forgot to mention in my last article about Seoul was
  13. the state of popular music in Korea.  It still sucks.  Seo Tae Ji and the
  14. Kids really need to stop singing and dressing like NKOTB.  And to all the
  15. fans of Hyun Jin Young, I have one word:  Malcolm!  X stands for Malcolm, not
  16. Hyun Jin Young.  What really shocked me was, though, was the amount of
  17. sampling going on.  These 'singers' were passing off other rappers works
  18. as their own--one of them even proudly proclaimed that he, Big Daddy Kane and
  19. DWI started the rap scene.  Just before I left, the government legislated
  20. a tougher laws for software copyright protection, and if they don't do the
  21. same for music, someone's going to make David Bowie-Vanilla Ice suit look
  22. miniscule.
