  39. Sorry to contradict you on this one, but NO IT WASN'T - I was
  40. there, for one, and making a hell of a noise!  So was everyone else
  41. around where I was (13th row, 2nd floor, North Side).

  45. To be honest, I was surprised by the amount of support Akebono had
  46. in this fight.  Within my auditory range the Akenbono shouters
  47. outnumbered the Tak supporters by (I would guess) at least 5:1.
  48. There were even several young Japanese girls, who I had down as
  49. definite Tak supporters, who were shouting for Akebono (just goes
  50. to show something about apperances and misconceptions!!).  I 
  51. suspect that something that was happening was that everyone was
  52. stunned it was all over so fast.  We had been waiting all day for the
  53. fight, hoping maybe for a play-off (better value for money!-there
  54. was only one lower division play-off, and we had missed out on the
  55. definite possibility of a Juryo playoff, with Asanowaka and Asanonami + 1 other going into the final day all with 4 losses)
  56. and then it was over REAL fast.
