- I would take the counter point that if the cars were of poorer quality
- then the car rental companies would be ill-advised to purchase them. In
- this case I would say that the purchase of American cars further
- verifies that the American car is number 1.

- This is more than likely irrelevant as they will be changing-over
- their cars in 1 or 1 1/2 years. If they keep then any longer then
- they are inviting exorbitant costs whether they be Japanese or
- American cars.
