  15. A friend of mine who is in the US on an F-1 visa intends to have his wife
  16. come over to the US on an F-2 visa some time around May. She will most likely
  17. be applying for the visa at the Madras consulate.

  19. He would like to know if there are any problems / hassles with getting the 
  20. F-2 visa these days. He's looking for information specific to the Madras 
  21. consulate. Assuming the documentation is in order, is there a good chance of
  22. the visa being granted? Any tips, hints, or anecdotal information of recent
  23. experiences, etc. would be welcome.
