  12. The only interest the gov't has in H-1 visa holders is whether
  13. they have paid the local income tax or not!  It happened to my
  14. wife and me on one of our Asia/South Pacific trips.  But we got a
  15. clearance from one of the BIR booths within the airport complex,
  16. and were allowed to board the plane with little or no hassle.

  18. The travel agent should have alerted you of this requirement, though.
