- Subject: Belgian/Luxembourg conflict spreads...
- Lines: 38
-
- A purely fictional story...
-
- The Begian Luxemboug conflict has now spread to the British Isles.
- Canada has accused Scotland of "undermining" the terretorial integrety of the
- country. It appears that, in the event of a breakup, Scotland would try
- to annex the province of Nova Scotia. Scotland has also sent Gaelic teachers to
- the province to "re-scotify" the population.
-
- Wales has appealed to the Austrailan government to change the name of its
- province of New South Wales, to something according to Welsh premier
- Henry Jones "less likely to usurp Welsh culture."
- The Australian President Mick Dundee said "since they asked so nicely,
- we might have a referendum on it."
-
- New clashes along the Belgian/Luxembour frontier has left twelve people dead
- and score injured, when Wallonian extremists decided to hop a tank and
- cross the border. "All Luxembourgers must stand up to this aggression" a
- soldier said.
-
- Greece, having humiliated the Macedonian poeple, by forcing the
- republic to be called "the Republic of our notherly Slavic Neighbor" is now
- demanding that the U.S. change all towns that have greek names, to new
- ones. No explanation was given. We here believe it has something to do
- with "usurping Greek culture".
-
- Some good news...
-
- The referendums on joining the E.C. were unilateraly ratified by the
- Republics of Turkey and Gagauzia. Tukish minister Kemal Golu said
- "We are back in Europe."
- the E.C. has, in the past attempted to bring Gagauzia into the fold,
- because it was the first region of the xUSSR to create a competitive
- banking system, which had been compared to Switzerland.
-
- The U.S. and the Republic of Gerogia have come to an agreement.
- They agreed that the two Georgias would stay Georgia, and the
- Republic of Georgia could call the U.S. Georgia, Sakartvelo
- (Georgian for Georgia) but explain why it really isn't theirs.
