  21. When in Opposition, Bob Rae developed quite a few 'squeaky 
  22. clean'-type policies which, when faced with the reality of 
  23. government, resulted in him sticking to his guns. This lead to a 
  24. number of "scandels" and cabinet resignations which, when 
  25. compared to Liberal and Conservative (and SoCred) governments of 
  26. our times, were quite petty.

  28. Bob Rae should be praised for living up to the high standards he 
  29. set... to compare the Ontario NDP transgressions to those of 
  30. Mulroney, Peterson, Vander Zalm, et al., are like comparing 
  31. blemished yet still palatable apples to a crate of oranges 
  32. flattened by a (deregulated) transport truck.
