  26. Texas has Paris, Rome, Athens, Palestine; Alabama has Birmingham;
  27. Illinois has Cairo and Vienna; Pennsylvania has York and Lancaster as
  28. well as Mars; Wisconsin has Berlin.  And last week some poor tourist
  29. got off a plane in San Jose, CA, and wondered why everyone was
  30. speaking English when she had a ticket for San Jose, Puerto Rico.
  31. (Last year some kid was halfway from Los Angeles to New Zealand when
  32. he asked the attendant why it was taking so long to get to Oakland
  33. [across the bay from San Francisco].  He had dutifully gone to the
  34. gate announced for Auckland.)
