- Texas has Paris, Rome, Athens, Palestine; Alabama has Birmingham;
- Illinois has Cairo and Vienna; Pennsylvania has York and Lancaster as
- well as Mars; Wisconsin has Berlin. And last week some poor tourist
- got off a plane in San Jose, CA, and wondered why everyone was
- speaking English when she had a ticket for San Jose, Puerto Rico.
- (Last year some kid was halfway from Los Angeles to New Zealand when
- he asked the attendant why it was taking so long to get to Oakland
- [across the bay from San Francisco]. He had dutifully gone to the
- gate announced for Auckland.)
