  24. Friends of my solved this problem by taking the first part of her
  25. middle name (Heather) and the last part of his middle name (Edward)
  26. to create the new last name "Heathward."

  28. An additional question: when married couples adopt a hyphenated
  29. last name, do the children also carry the hyphenated name?  In
  30. 25 years are we going to be seeing Joe Smith-Johnson--Clark-Stewards
  31. and the like?
