- Subject: Problems with sending mail in MH-6.8
- Keywords: mh, sending
-
-
- I compiled MH-6.8 on a Sun4 with SunOS 4.1.2. Now the problem is I
- don't seem to be able to send any mail.
-
- My sysadmin wants the sending of mail done by forking
- /usr/lib/sendmail and piping the message to it. I have tried to
- achieve that with the config files attached to the end of this
- message.
-
- When whatnow prompts me and I respond "send -verbose -watch", it
- return to the shell immediately without printing anything. I have
- tried to watch the syslog which sendmail writes when it sends mails,
- but there is nothing that indicates sendmail ever received my mail.
-
- Is there some way for me to find out what is going on? Has send ever
- run sendmail or not? If not, why didn't I get an error message?
- Receiving mails works fine and was really missing the MIME-support
- before version 6.8. Thank you for that.
