- It is not common to use them for non-Marine roles. I believe some were
- used in the various clashes between the USN and Iranian forces in the
- Iran-Iraq war and possibly in DS. Their use was strictly a make shift
- affair against small craft (e.g. Boghammers) and oil platforms.
