  17. Don't forget that the nuclear blast would have an effect on the
  18. electronic systems of the Carrier, and indeed on the task force in
  19. general.  I'm not sure how well insulated a carrier's systems are to the
  20. effects of an EMP, but I'm sure that it must be considered, as well as
  21. the immediate effect of fallout, surface contamination, etc, etc
