- I have two questions concerning the recent Iraqi fighting; please respond
- by e-mail, if you wish.
-
- Are Iraq's SA-3 "Goa" SAMs deployed on both fixed and mobile launchers?
- (Does this type of missile come in both versions?) If mobile, are the mobile
- launchers tracked or wheeled? I have encountered conflicting data on this, and
- would like find further sources. How many "Goa" launchers comprise a battery?
-
- Was the Iraqi fighter shot down on Sunday, 17 January 1993, a MiG-23
- "Flogger" or a MiG-29 "Fulcrum?" Early reports indicate the former, but a
- friend said he saw later news reports indicate the latter.
-
- Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanx!
