  14. From a layman, I'm quite religious in cleaning, flossing etc etc, but no matter
  15. how hard I try I always end up with a slow but gradual build up of tartar,
  16. stained from coffee and smoke. Apart from the obvious solution, is there
  17. a way to remove these stains and whiten the teeth. Even after visiting
  18. the dentist for a scale and polish there are still areas which have
  19. light brown stains! Also are there any products  which really do help
  20. keep these stains at bay. This may sound all a bit vain but once the
  21. stains start to reappear I become very consious of them
