- Hello,
- does anyone know a solution to my problem ?
- I plot a homoclinic orbit with DS-Tool and I'd like to check the
- asymptotic behavior of the solution. Roughly speaking: I find a solution,
- say h(t), which goes to infinity as t goes to + and - infinity. The
- problem is that I have this solution only numerically, and when I
- integrate the solution for a big value of t, this solution explodes.
- Nevertheless I'm sure of the existence of this solution, and I know that
- it has to converge to 0 (for t goes to + infinity) like exp(-t) or
- t*exp(-t). I'd like to check it (numerically of course).
- Can anyone help me ?
- I would greately appreciate suggestions or references. Please reply by
- E-mail.
- Thanks
