- Does any one have experience in fitting random data to a Gaussian distribution?
- A straightforward way is to formulate the problem as a NLS problem and to solve
- for the mean and the variance. Can anyone comment on the speed of convergence
- or suggest other method(s) to solve this curve fitting problem.
