  21. A paper on this, "Pure and Applied Mathematics Journals: What They Cite
  22. and Vice Versa", by Eugene Garfield, appeared in _Current Contents_
  23. 5(15):5-10, March 8, 1982.  He measured the "most significant" math
  24. journals in five different ways.  Of course, the five results did not agree.
  25. Journals ranked high in four of the five ratings were:
