  12. I am taking a class in Statistical Pattern Recognition and Machine
  13. Intelligence.  The book that the instructor has chosen is simply the pits. 
  14. The notation is not standard and the author doesn't bother to give examples,
  15. which is poor education IMHO.  The instructor of the course is in agreement
  16. with me.  I am wondering if there are other resources that I might be able
  17. to access to make my life a little easier in this class.
