- The title says it. I would like to know how CD players, the audio variety
- and CD-ROM types track.
-
- Besides plain curiosity there's an ulterior motive for this question.
- I live and work in Brazil (am on leave now) and CD players there have
- a problem of skipping which I was told is due to high humidity. Before
- bringing a an audio CD player and a CD-ROM reader back to Rio, I would
- like to know what to look for in a product that would minimize the
- potential for skipping.
-
- I would also very much appreciate any reference to technical literature
- (construction, circuits, maintenance, etc.) concerning CD players and
- CD-ROM readers.
-
- Regards
- George Svetlichny
