- Most melamine products will gouge and wear through in nothing flat on
- surfaces that will be exposed to as much hard usage as a table saw
- bed. Not to mention that most melamines will buckle and bubble
- reasonably quickly if they get any standing water on the surface.
- Formica or some other plastic laminate is far better than melamine
- in this application. Even tempered hardboard would be better.
