- i bought the porter-cable magnaquench when it first came out (around 4
- years ago?) and was the only 12v on the market. i wanted to be able to
- drive 2 1/2" + drywall screws as well as lag screws (with pilot
- holes). it's a champ - i haven't tryed any reasonable driving task
- that it hasn't handled. one of my best tool investments, and well
- worth the premium, IMHO. my only complaints are that 1) it's a heavy
- bugger if you're using it at awkward angles and 2) porter-cable hasn't
- come out with any other tools that could share the battery pack.
