- I have a JVC HR-D910, and I've been having a problem with the Hifi
- audio tracking. If I play a tape that's not been originally recorded by
- said VCR, Hifi audio occasionally drops in and out, with some noise, when
- digital auto tracking is enabled. If I shut off auto-tracking, I can usually
- adjust the tracking enough so that hi-fi audio comes through with no problems,
- with acceptable picture, but I lose the benefit of auto-tracking.
-
- I'm pretty sure is not the tapes. Tapes played in my Mitsubishi HSU-65 don't
- exhibit this problem, nor do tapes originally recorded by the JVC VCR.
-
- So, does anyone know the source of this problem, and if there's a fix available?
-
- Thanks.
