- You may also wish to shorten the cable runs and use thicker (and better
- shielded wires) with your stereo receivers. Sometimes, if you have too long
- of a wire from the audio output to the audio input, this can cause the
- humming (especially if the wire is wrapped up or tangled). You may also
- wish to use a different outlet, since the one you are using may have
- interference or improper grounding.
