  20. After more experimenting and discussion with Greg, I've come to the 
  21. realization that my original test was flawed and that the most reasonable
  22. conclusion is that the A/D->D/A converters are being by-passed when the
  23. Sony TA-E2000ESD "Source Direct" switch is on.  A schematic would eliminate
  24. any doubt.
