- I have the Fujix H80 which is a clone of the TR-81. A couple of weeks ago I
- was starting to do some dubbing when I noticed the playback picture from a
- tape was in black and white. I put in another tape and it was also in black
- and white. After a few minutes and after turning the power on and off,
- everything returned to normal and the playback picture was fine. Yesterday
- I started playing a tape and it was again in black and white. Then I switched
- the camcorder from "VTR" to "CAMERA" and all that can be seen in the viewfinder
- were wiggly lines. This time the problem has not gone away by itself.
-
- Has anybody had any similar experiences with the TR-81 or a clone? Does
- anybody have any speculation as to what may be wrong? Fortunately the Fujix
- comes with a one year parts and labor warranty so I will be taking it in for
- service in a few days (I purchased it in May 1992). I will probably be taking
- it to EC Electronics in New York City since they seem to be the closest
- authorized service center around. Has anybody had any dealings with them?
- Thank you for any information.
