- Interesting... I've just bought one and have had problems programming in
- the keys from my Pioneer AV Receiver, including one time where the CP8
- Turbo locked up displaying ENTER and with the red LED permanently on.
- I tried various ways to cancel this, including taking the batteries out
- for a short period, but had to resort to "rebooting" it with the reset
- button. It seems very difficult to get the CP8 Turbo to accept keys from
- the Pioneer: even when it says it accepted them (usually it says ERROR for
- my first few attempts), they often do not work, and some keys I cannot get
- it to accept at all. The same is true for my Pioneer laser disc's remote.
- I've tried all the combinations of methods suggested in the user manual,
- and it works fine with my other (Hitachi) components.
-
- Has anyone else had this problem, or been able to use it with Pioneer
- equipment perfectly well? Should I return the unit for a replacement
- and see if that works any better, or should I just take it back for a
- complete refund?
-
- Where can I find the phone number for the factory?
