  28. I bought 4 tapes, 2 120s and 2 144s (they claim that the spool on the
  29. cartridge is large enough to hold 144 minutes of 120 minute tape
  30. stock). Having heard from a co-worker that VHS tapes are acceptable in
  31. SP SVHS mode, I recorded some material in EP. Result? About standard
  32. SP VHS quality to my eyes--which is what EP on a TDK-XP Pro T-120
  33. looks like to me.  Verdict: probably some sort of real SVHS tape stock
  34. but I don't have the necessary equipment to confirm that.

  36. I would love if someone with the right instruments (or experience, my
  37. eyes have not been in this business for long) would give them a spin.
  38. The price is very attractive as is the 144 minute length.
