- Well, I have a similar problem. I have a 20" Sony Stereo TV.
-
- If I have the TV on while recording an audio tape, the tape picks up
- an annoying 60 cycle hum. Right now, all I do is to turn off the TV
- when recording tapes.
-
- You might try a few things:
-
- 1. Plug your TV in another electrical outlet and see if that
- affects anything.
-
- 2. Move your TV further away from your stereo.
-
- 3. Try sheilding your TV and/or your stereo with some sheet metal.
- You might just want to place a metalic object between the two and
- see what happens.
-
- Good luck and keep us posted!
