  23. Any 8mm/Hi8mm VTR that has stereo has AFM stereo.  8mm never had low fidelity
  24. stereo linear tracks like VHS.  Even the PCM units must record AFM stereo so 
  25. that the tapes will playback on none PCM units.

  27. Audio dubbing can only be done via PCM tracks in the 8mm/Hi8mm format.  AFM is 
  28. recorded with the video - PCM is recorded on seperate tracks.  Keep in mind 
  29. your dubs go away if you put the tape in a none PCM unit.

  31. Video dubbing?  I believe that would a first for a consumer VCR in this 
  32. format.
