- Well, one of them. My Fisher VCR (Model 839? 840? Something like
- that.) has been faithfully time-shifting and viewing rentals since
- about then. I use the LD player for the good stuff, but I do use
- the VCR on the average of once or twice a week.

- The only problem I have had was that the rubber belts got old. (Well,
- I did have another problem, but that was because when I went in to
- check the belts, I decided to see how the thing worked. Next time,
- I'll just replace the belts. :-<

- And, it has a feature set that I really like (including blanking the
- screen after you press PLAY, but before it starts showing the tape).
- Unfortunately, this was pre-HQ and pre-SVHS, but it seems to be as
- solid as ever. It's also a snap to program, but then I also know
- how to stop the clock from flashing 12:00. :->
