- Yes. VHS tape is VHS tape. You can drill a small hole in the
- case and make it an S-VHS tape. There is an article posted
- in this group telling you how to do this. But as far as
- using your UK VHS tapes there should not be a problem. It's only
- the signal that is recorded on the tape that makes
- the difference between PAL and NTSC.

- my wife runs business doing just that. We left England several years ago
- and wanted to send videos back. The cost was astronomical at first,
- so we bought a machine and now run a business! The Amercian way:-)
