- The silver sands around Morar, on the West coast of Scotland. The sand
- there contains ground up mother-of-pearl, so its stunningly sparkling
- white when the sun shines. The sea is warmed by the Gulf Stream, so the
- climate there is milder than you'd expect. (Ever see the movie "Local
- Hero" ? That was filmed nearby.)
