- because, frankly, the only answer I can give is 'mu'. Not that there
- isn't good weather here, but that it is very unpredictable. Having said
- that, I've had most success either side of )summer) - esp. May and
- October; though this may be purely subjective. May has the extra
- advantage of the Glasgow Mayfest - a cultural jamboree, second only in
- the UK to Edinburgh and with a lot more local input, with a large range
- of arts, cultural and community events (Glasgow also holds a rather good
- jazz fest in July). September/October have the advantage of autumn
- colours painting the glens in calendar colours - Glen Lyon, Affric,
- Orchay, Loch Aweside & dozens of others.
