  20. I called last week to rent a car in L.A., and the big companies (Avis, Hertz,
  21. Budget) told me they don't rent cars to people younger than 25.

  23. There are two companies that do rent cars: Thrifty and General (at least in 
  24. L.A.), but you'll have to pay $10 (Thrifty) or $5 (General) PER DAY extra when
  25. you're 24.
